Journal of Microbiology and Modern Techniques (JMMT) is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal which provides an advanced research on Microbiology, including archaea, bacteria, yeasts, fungi, microalgae, protozoa, and simple eukaryotic microorganisms. JMMT aims to fulfill the needs of international communities working on microorganisms of exceptional academic, environmental, industrial, economic, and medical importance.

Journal of Microbiology and Modern Techniques is using online manuscript submission, review and tracking systems for quality and quick review processing. Review processing is performed by the editorial board members of Journal of Microbiology and Modern Techniques or outside experts; at least two independent reviewer's approval followed by editor approval is required for acceptance of any citable manuscript.

Optimization of Pseudomonas aeruginosa for Chlorpyrifos Degradation using Response Surface Methodology

Chlorpyrifos is a hazardous organophosphate pesticide used worldwide thus its biodegradation is need of the time. In the present study 13 bacterial strains were isolated from collected soil samples of different agro climatic regions and out of them one bacterial strain was screened out as potent degrader of Chlorpyrifos on the basis of percentage degradation using high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC)
